It was fun to watch them create. Oosje did a great job of teaching Lil' how to use scissors during her recent trip to Camp Ketchum! She had fun showing Daddy her skills by cutting out all of the bodies.

Monsters
Lil' announced this morning, just moments after waking up, that she wanted to draw a monster, specifically "a one eyed monster like Wizowski on the Monster show." Not wanting to start my Saturday at 7:20 I told Lil' that her Daddy would be a perfect person to do that with her and that she should wait until he returned from disc golfing (yes, Daddy was disc golfing at 7:20 something on a Saturday morning). As soon as he walked in the door she was ready to go! Here is what they created.

I love the monsters! Did she say why they all ended up with two eyes?
They don't look like scary monsters at all. They look friendly and happy.
Lil talked about monsters here too. There was always a monster, under the dining table, who wanted to join us to eat. Most of the time the monster was Bampa, making noise wiht his fot or knee, and when he wasn't there, Lil created the monster. and SOMETIMES, the "monster" was truly a total mystery. Hummmmm?
It was quite fun to watch Lil figure out her finger position in the scissors. There was much thought and concentration involved. Also, scissor safty was taught. A much needed lesson.
