Last day of swimming before pool closed. A while back I found an expired Costco card. I gave it to Lil' for her wallet. She immediately wanted to play Costco. We saved for almost two months and this is just a small portion of our store set up.
On Friday's Lil and I stop to get coffee for Mama and cocoa for Lil'. Last Friday as we were sitting on the deck at the coffee shop a little green car pulled into the parking lot. Lil' was mesmerized. She announced that it was a car just her size. Although we were ready to go back to our car, Lil' wanted to wait until the person driving the little green car came to the coffee shop so she could tell him she LOVED his car. She did and then we headed back to our car. On the way Mama noticed that the green car was a Porsche....a 1974 Porsche. I couldn't resist taking a photo for Bampa to enjoy.
When I forget my camera I use the camera on my phone as a backup but until today I never knew how to retrieve them to share. There are 70+ photos downloaded to my computer that I will share over the next few weeks. I'll start with the recent ones and work my way backward.
Family day found us out in the foothills enjoying the beautiful weather today.
Last weekend at the first annual Boise Rec Fest....Trying to make Uncle Mark proud.
When Lil' was young she had an allergic reaction to watermelon. Since this is a known family allergy we have been diligent in making sure Lil' didn't eat it. For several months this has been an issue for Lil' as she REALLY, REALLY wanted watermelon. I decided recently that now that Lil' is able to communicate what she feels happening to her I would let her try watermelon. After getting her pictures taken she got to have it for the first time since she was very small. She loved it and had no adverse reaction. She has been enjoying it throughout this hot weekend. Yay for watermelon!!!!
