Day 2 : Part Two and Three

First we went to see Papa Hans and his friends....

All dressed up in our costumes.
Great makeup by Daddy.

They were all lined up by the front door and fireplace waiting to greet their guests.

Then it was off to Boo at the Zoo.

A Bronco witch and with her Nurse Mama.

So far Lil' has mostly wanted someone else to carry her broom.

Pumpkin carving, Halloween cookies and seed baking tonight. I can hardly believe that it's not even really Halloween yet. We are going to see Aunt Laurie and Uncle Matt tomorrow and trick or treat on Harrison Blvd. which we hear is quite an event!

Day 2 : Part One

We are up early in anticipation of our Halloween events today. While I started our Saturday chores Lil' as busy coloring and practicing her spellling.

Day 1 of 3 Halloween 2010

Fun was had by all at the preschool Halloween event. The executive director too these photos of our happy Bronco witch.

She was too distracted by all the other costumes to let me do a very good job at her make up. She wants it fancy like she saw on the package so her hopefully her patience will give her artistic dad a chance to work some magic.

Boo at The Zoo and trick-or-treating at Papa's tomorrow. I'll post pictures tomorrow night.

Mother Earth

I made a reference to Mother Earth recently. Lil' wanted to know why it was a girl and not a boy. When I told her it just was, she asked "Well is the moon her husband?" I love the way she thinks

Fun At Linder Farms

First up, corn angels.

Last year this swing was the highlight of the day. This year I tried to take the photo when she was too close but I think it's kinda cool anyways.

Riding the barrell train. At first she wanted to sit in the one right behind the tractor but we talked her into riding in the witch barrell since she is going to be a witch for Halloween.

Hayride to the pumpkin patch with Oosje.

Dusk in the patch...

Oosje was very excited about the gourds.

Lil' and Oosje hunting for gourds and pumpkins.

The sunset was amazing...
Our haul....close to 100 lbs. of pumpkin and gourds.

By the time we got back on the hayride Lil' was DONE!

Thanks for sharing our pumpkin patch adventure with us Oosje.

Photo Update

This is a photo collection of stuff that's happened over the past few months....ending with our day at the fair.

Friend Audience for a show Lil' was putting on one day this summer before Mama went back to work.

Fun Food....Lil' especially liked the ham nest with egg cooked in it.

Butterfly sandwich....Do you see the light reflecting to make a face on the cherry?

Waiting for fireworks on Fourth of July.

The first weekend after Mama got a new job we went down to enjoy some fun at the paddle boats.

Coloring with Polly.

Mama and Belle hiking 8th street trails.

With Ms. Beverly on her Last "1st Day of Preschool"

Last day of swimming before pool closed.

A while back I found an expired Costco card. I gave it to Lil' for her wallet. She immediately wanted to play Costco. We saved for almost two months and this is just a small portion of our store set up.

Fancy Fair Hair....

Of all the things Lil' knew about the fair before she got there she was most excited about seeing the Kangaroos

and then she saw RIDES....
